The Fat Boy 114 is 16 pounds heavier than the Breakout 117 in running order, partially because of the fat front tire — the widest ever put on a Harley from the factory — which is 30 millimeters wider than the front tires on the Breakout, and solid Lakester disc wheels. You can ride with confidence on either bike, but the Breakout 117 is built with a greater rake angle than the Fat Boy 114, which leads to excellent stability. Rest your feet in the position you prefer with floorboards on the Fat Boy 114, or in a forward position with the foot pegs on the Breakout 117. Both motorcycles have room for your back warmer on the pillion.
