Own the road with the all-new Milwaukee-Eight 117 Custom engine on the 2025 Harley-Davidson Breakout. Its 126 pound-feet of torque are available across a broad torque curve, with particularly strong output in the mid range and a good lower range with the responsive sport ride mode enabled.

The V-twin engine is built with new four-valve cylinder heads, a new throttle body, and a contoured aluminum intake manifold. Its Touring-style intake airbox features 50 percent more intake volume than Heavy Breather intake from 2024 Breakout with reduced intake noise. Combined with the air intake revisions, the two-into-two exhaust features a revised muffler design that reduces high-frequency sound and allows the soul-stirring, lower-frequency engine rumble to dominate the airwaves.

The all-LED lighting starts with a new 5.75-inch round headlamp and extends to the taillamps and blinkers. An anti-lock brake system (ABS) with cornering-enhanced ABS is standard, along with a 300-millimeter front disc brake and a number of other carefully designed rider safety enhancements.
