2023 Tri Glide Ultra vs. Road Glide 3 Engine Specs & Powertrain
Enjoy the serious power and soul-stirring sound of a big twin engine on the 2023 Harley-Davidson Tri Glide Ultra and 2023 Harley-Davidson Road Glide 3. Both trikes are built with a Milwaukee-Eight® 114 engine, but the Twin Cooled™ engine on the Tri Glide Ultra makes slightly higher power numbers and makes its peak torque at fewer revolutions per minute (RPM). With 120 pound-feet of torque from the Tri Glide Ultra and 119 pound-feet of torque for the Road Glide 3, both have the grunt to get up and go when you roll on the throttle.
Spend more time riding thanks to the 42 combined MPG rating for the Tri Glide Ultra and 43 combined MPG rating for the Road Glide 3. Both trikes include a 6-gallon fuel tank.

Overall, the 2023 Harley-Davidson Tri Glide Ultra is a slightly longer and heavier bike than the 2023 Harley-Davidson Road Glide 3. You can invite a back warmer along for the ride on either trike, and the Tri Glide Ultra boosts their comfort with a cushioned backrest.
