The available Reflex Defensive Rider System (RDRS) is designed to help you maintain better control when braking through curves or on uneven or slick surfaces. The anti-lock brake system (ABS) controls front and rear brakes independently, maintaining traction without locking up either tire, while innovative electronic linked braking (ELB) applies balanced pressure to both wheels without having to use both braking levers. The system will also maintain stability, traction, and balanced braking pressure through turns.

RDRS also includes the drag torque control system (DSCS), which prevents the back wheel from sliding out when downshifting on slick pavement or through turns. And vehicle hold control (VHC) keeps your bike from rolling backward on an uphill stop without having to hold the brakes.
