Its top-of-the-line engine displacement helps the Milwaukee-Eight 114 command the road with 122 pound-feet of torque while still offering a ride-lengthening 43 MPG combined fuel economy rating. Fitting its touring frame, the Road King Special features a six-gallon fuel tank. Power from the engine flows through a six-speed Cruise Drive® transmission to the sleek gloss black Prodigy™ wheels.

2023 Harley-Davidson Road King Special Safety & Technology

Brilliant lighting and plenty of optional rider safety enhancements support your long-haul rides on the 2023 Harley-Davidson Road King Special. Housed in a sleek, new nacelle, a bright white Daymaker® LED headlamp burns through the darkest nights and lights up the road home. Electronic linked braking that helps brake both wheels and an anti-lock braking system is standard, enhancing the mechanical components in the Road King Special braking system — a four-piston fixed brake calipers with dual floating front rotors and fixed rear rotor.

A larger circular gauge fits the commanding presence of the bike, and the display readouts include an odometer, gear indicator, range-to-empty, and trip meters. Cruise control is also standard.

To enhance your confidence while you have your bike out, consider adding the Reflex™ Defensive Rider System. Optional rider safety enhancements include:
