The 2023 Harley-Davidson Fat Boy 114 and Heritage Classic roll with the same engine — a Milwaukee-Eight® 114 with identical performance specs. The pipes have a different look; the Heritage Classic gets a 2-into-2 shorty dual exhaust while the Fat Boy 114 gets a 2-into-2 staggered exhaust. Regardless of your choice, you get to enjoy the throaty rumble from the big-twin engine. Both bikes get a six-speed Cruise Drive® transmission. The wheels and tires are also different, with machined Lakester cast aluminum wheels and 11-inch Michelin® Scorcher® tires on the Fat Boy 114 and gloss black nine-spoke cast aluminum wheels with Dunlop® Harley-Davidson series tires on the Heritage Classic.

Focus on the road ahead with the essential safety and tech features on the 2023 Harley-Davidson Fat Boy 114 and Heritage Classic. See the road home with all-LED forward lighting on either bike and be seen with an LED taillamp and LED blinkers on the Fat Boy 114 or an incandescent Zeppelin taillamp and blinkers on the Heritage Classic. You also get auxiliary LED fog lamps on the Heritage Classic. An antilock braking system (ABS) is available on the Fat Boy 114 and standard on the Heritage Classic.

When it comes to viewing your gauges, both motorcycles include a 5-inch analog speedometer and digital readouts for your gear, odometer, fuel level, clock, trip, range, and tachometer indicators. Cruise control is standard on both bikes for easy riding.
