Electronic linked braking coordinates braking pressure between the Brembo® front and rear brakes; the anti-lock braking system (ABS) prevents your wheels from locking up; and the slip control system prevents your rear wheel from slipping during deceleration.

The sharknose fairing on the Road Glide Special is mounted to the bike’s frame rather than its forks. The handlebars turn separately from the fairing, while wind forces are transferred from the fairing to the frame of the motorcycle instead of to the handlebars. This makes the bike seem lighter and quicker to maneuver through turns, and at higher speeds or in windy conditions it can make riding the Road Glide Special less taxing.
